My Render Library from the beginning...

Hey everyone, cleaned up my Render Library around the time I started to seriously dive into learning Daz3D. I uploaded this before the end of the year and took off the link afterwards, so you might have already seen most of these images.

The data loss was almost scary around Mid-March. It's one of the factors there is a delay in current content creation. Let me explain a little context. I ordered another external hard drive for extra storage as a backup solution. It arrived in the morning and I plugged it in. I wanted to change the drive letter which lead me to the disk manager on windows 10. I've done this before, but it's been awhile and a pop up window said that I needed to initialize the storage for before I can use it. Me without thinking it would do anything harmful I click initialize instantly...

Well well well.... I had all my drives connected and even the backup clones all connected to my PC. So basically I sorta lost my data at the moment. It was still in my hard drive, but inaccessible. Funny that I even had my backup external hard drives connected and all of those "Initialized" too. I also had a cloud backup to google, but I changed to locally backup in order to cut cost. So my only backup I had was the ones connected to my PC, which unfortunately "initialized".

After hours, days, and weeks of scanning and copying my data to the hard drives, I'm back up and running. This was so much better than having to start from scratch with nothing. I once was about to dive deeper into Daz3D back in 2018 summer, but there was a fire at my apartment at the time. Basically I lost everything in my room. All I had was the stuff on me as I was going to go to my job interview for the summer. I vowed to myself that I would backup all data so at the very least, I wouldn't lose my digital data. Reminds me that anything bad that can happen, probably will happen.

Long story to all that, I took a lot of time these weeks to organize my work. One thing that has annoyed me is my file structure was quite unorganized. Which led me to organize all my data more simpler and cleaner. This'll eventually help me in the long run as I optimize my internal workflow.

Anyways, to some other lighter topic. It has been amazing to see how much I've grown from my renders. I'm nowhere where I want to be, but it's good to see progress over the years. I'm seeing all the mistakes that I didn't see at the time. Learning Daz3D was a pain in the butt, but I'm so glad I didn't give up or stop.

Also, big thanks to everyone supporting along the way. The graphics card upgrade was a huge jump in image quality. Some older renders were a painful to render due to the time. It'll be full of noise and take a long time to converge.

Learning to use the AI denoiser developed around 2019 (I think), allowed for a pretty good render to time ratio. Now, I'm using the AI denoiser for all my renders now. Previously, I didn't like the quality it was giving. Learning how to light up my scene better helped a lot to using the AI denoiser properly.

In conclusion to this long post, these are most renders over the years that I worked on. Some renders were posted on DeviantArt.

Feel free to scavenge my digital renders.
