2023 In Review

This set with Mo was taken on December 12 out at one of my favorite locations (Redstone). I met Mo and her partner there and we hiked around and shot for a few hours. The shoot was eventful to say the least. Some guy walked by and started shouting at us and throwing some unflattering names around. I lost my temper and started shouting back and inviting him to come a little closer. He shouted he was calling the ranger, and I told him to go ahead. Redstone is in a National Recreation Area and is governed by the National Park Service. Nudity is not illegal or prohibited in the National Park System except for a location along the east coast. Don't just take my word for it, look it up in the regulations. After we were done shooting, a ranger showed up and asked us what we were doing and Mo and I said we were shooting. The ranger asked us if she was nude. We said yes. He started lecturing us that nudity was not allowed, and I promptly disagreed with him. He asked me where I got my information, and I told him I had spoken with his boss about it. He got a little huffy at that point and asked for my ID. He took it and walked back to his truck and called into his office. They told him I was correct and that made him even more huffy. He gave me back my ID, took a picture of my license plate and told me if he saw me back at Redstone, I would be cited. For what I don't know. The guy that had been yelling at Mo and I was sitting in his vehicle but left when he figured out we were not being cited. Now just let me say this, I'm not an attorney but have read the regulations. If a ranger approaches and asks the model to get dressed, and you refuse, you can be cited. So don't start running around in National Parks naked. Use some judgement. That's the rest of the story.

Mo and I had a great time except for the rude guy that was showing off for his girlfriend, I think, and created some great photos. December in Nevada is usually a great time to shoot. Like I said this was shot on the 12th of December. We're coming to the end of 2023, but never fear, there's still a lot more for you from 2024 so stay tuned. As always, thank you for your support.
