2023 In Review

This was Riona's last photoshoot before her retirement from modeling. She and I had worked together a couple of times and she specifically requested that we shoot together one last time. I agreed and told her that if she ever decided to unretire, she knew where to find me. She hasn't unretired and gave birth to a healthy baby boy who now is a little over one year old. She was a great model and I'm sure is now a great mother. This was a remote shoot from my home in Nevada to Zoi Morgan's studio in Den Haag. As you can see Riona was in her third trimester. We took multiple breaks so she could rest and not be overtaxed and created some very beautiful maternity photos. We also decided to do some bodyscapes at the end of the shoot to highlight her pregnancy. All in all, I couldn't have asked for a better last session with this very beautiful and talented woman. We created some lasting photo memories for Riona.

I'm very flattered to have done maternity shoots with several of my favorite models, both remotely and in person. Although not everyone's cup-of-tea, I think the capture of a woman during pregnancy is one of the most intimate photos imaginable. The third trimester is one of the most difficult times for a woman, especially a model, because they're looking at themselves in a mirror and wondering if they look beautiful. I try to capture those moments where the woman is interacting with the little one inside them and hope to capture that intimate moment in the photo as proof to the model that pregnancy is one of the most beautiful moments in her and the baby's life.
