2023 In Review

Caitlin (she goes by Sister Cait or Outsidemytime on IG) was attending a photo workshop in Las Vegas and called me to ask whether I would be interested in another shoot with her out at Redstone. We had first worked together out there when she and a friend were traveling through. Her friend had the flu (which Cait caught after they got home) and was extremely ill that day so Cait and I shot for most of the time. It was very windy and cold. This day was perfect shooting weather. I picked her up in Vegas and we drove out to Redstone talking and catching up with one another. Her workshop was mostly indoors so she was looking forward to being out in nature for a few hours. We lucked out and there was nobody at Redstone so we had the run of the place. It is starting to get popular with the hiking crowd, but we were early enough that no one was around.

As you can see Cait is a true redhead. She hasn't been modeling all that long but found out she really enjoys it. Her sister is starting to model as well and maybe one of these days all three of us can shoot together. Redstone is a great place to shoot with a model. You can go out there a lot and still find spots you haven't shot before. The models seem to enjoy it as well. Once they take in the natural beauty of the location, they're hooked. I've never had a model tell me they don't like the location. Usually at the beginning or end of the shoot, they'll pull out their phone and snap a few photos of the landscape. As you can see Caitlin certainly added to the beauty of the location.
