2023 In Review
Added 2024-10-23 15:30:37 +0000 UTCWe were supposed to go to 2 locations this last day of ExplOregon, but the mosquitos were so thick we decided to spend the entire morning at the lava flow instead of going to a barn located on the edge of a shallow lake (where we figured the mosquitos would be even fiercer). It was a good call. The mosquitos were bad even at this location and the models were happy to cover themselves in body stockings. The stockings were ruined once they got out on the lava, but the ladies had a good time dropping into fierce poses. The lava flows offer some great posing locations but you have to be careful not to step wrong and take a tumble. Take it from your intrepid photogman, who did just that, and came away with some cuts and bruises. The camera was saved though. Another photographer, who accompanied us this year, wasn't so lucky with the camera. After the shoot, where I came away with over 1500 photos from the 4 day session, we said our goodbyes and the group headed back to Portland, while I turned the other way and headed to Mesquite. All in all it was a fun time and I highly recommend ExplOregon to anyone out there who wants to spend a few days in nature with great models.
