2023 In Review

We started off March of last year with two of my favorite models, Merrique and Floofie. Both sessions were shot remotely from their houses in Oregon to mine in Nevada. Floofie and I go way back together. She was the first model I hired, and Merrique is her best friend. I've worked with both of them for over 8 years now. The ones that Merrique and I did during the shoot illustrate the importance of light in your shoot. Merrique has some LED lights that we use that are multi-colored. We gravitate toward the red spectrum, because that makes her skin appear darker which she likes. The last photo shows what can happen with the red light converted to black and white. Red is a hard color to work with in post processing, but we've managed to get quite a few good photos.
