From Moscow With Love
Added 2022-04-06 17:42:36 +0000 UTCI shot this series remotely with Naya from her home in Moscow to mine in Nevada. She originally contacted me before the war in Ukraine started and inquired as to whether or not I would be interested in shooting with her. The shoot was scheduled and carried out just a couple of weeks ago. I have never experienced a delay as much as we got during the shoot. We had also set up a smart phone link, where she was visible. There was a full 10 second delay from when she would hit a pose and when it showed up on my screen. We stumbled through the technical difficulties and got some great photos though. As you can see, Naya is a very beautiful woman. Her English is much better than my Russian, but there were some language glitches as well. I owe a big thank you to her husband/photographer for his help during the shoot. We eventually abandoned my control of the shutter to just say now, as Naya hit her poses, then Yuri would press the shutter button. It was a little wonky but we overcame and managed to get quite a few great photos as you can see. I hope you enjoy this series with Naya. There are a lot more where these came from.
