So this past summer I spent 6 days out in the wilds of Utah with Shauntia and a couple of her friends. This was the first time I had worked with this lovely woman, who is also a fine photographer in her own right. Did I mention, she is also a rodeo Barrel Racer? As you can see, she's a natural redhead and very photogenic. The shoot didn't go as planned. The hotel reservations were messed up, it was hot, one model got a little overheated and ill and didn't make one of the shoots. As you can see though we made the best of it and after the first couple of days it cooled off and we were able to complete the journey and create some great photos. There will be more. I shot almost 3000 photos during the shoot. Can you blame me? I hope you enjoy this small sampling of Shauntia, Sienna, and Anoush and as always thank you very much for your support.
Did I mention that I hate shooting with horses? They never pose right for the camera. I just have to recognize that you all aren't looking at the horse anyway. :-)) I have to admit that this was one of the best shoots I have done with horses as props. It didn't hurt that the wrangler was a beautiful woman in her own right. If I would have had a little more time, we might have gotten to see some of her.
