Cheyenne

As stated a couple of days ago, here's Cheyenne.  She was named after the city in Wyoming housing the state capitol.  That's my story and I'm sticking to it.  Her dad was a roadie for the band Kiss and actually Cheyenne told me she was named after the city he was going through on I-80 to their next gig.  Her dad was in charge of the pyrotechnics.  This was our first shoot from a little over 2 years ago now when she was still blonde.  She's got really dark hair now (her natural color) but is still just as beautiful.  She currently lives in Las Vegas and I try to shoot with her when I'm there.

It's refreshing to shoot with a woman who has absolutely no inhibitions about her body and what is showing or not.  I shoot with a few women like that.  You can see in these photos, she doesn't really care if certain body parts are visible during the shoot.  Cheyenne has a clinical psychology degree and held a job as a trauma councilor until it started getting to her.  She started modeling and never looked back.  I actually shoot with several medical field workers.  The stress of that job, plus their being around nudity all the time leads them into art modeling, I think.

She originally hails from North Carolina and has the most delightful slight southern accent.  The only drawback to shooting with her out at Redstone is that her skin tone matches well with the red rocks and it's tough to get contrast.  That's why I try to pose her against the blue sky.  The other drawback is she's deathly afraid of rattlesnakes which are plentiful out at Redstone.  We ran into one which slithered away, but she had me carry her from the rock she was standing on to a place where the snake wasn't.  I'm not in the best physical shape, but I somehow managed to carry her, without dropping her, to a better location.  Did I mention that she uses a lot of olive oil on her body during the shoot, so she was very slippery.  The trials and tribulations of being a photographer.

Anyway enjoy this series with Cheyenne.  There's still quite a few more from this and subsequent shoots I've yet to publish, not to mention new shoots on the horizon.  Thanks for supporting my efforts through your pledges.
