How'd your January go?

Ahhhh~ It's *been* too long lol~

And I do really hope January was good to everyone. It just made me extra sleepy, but made none of the sleep actually restful :/ So, frustrating I guess lol

And it had SO. MUCH. SNOW. Oh damn. We must've been shovelling twice a day for the whole week.

Though I do look surprisingly cute when I'm exhausted and sweaty, but jazzed to be done shovelling for the night:

Then it just stopped. The snow, and the cold.

We only really got winter for the first half of the month. Guess I should've enjoyed it while it lasted?

A lot has been going on in the background, but none of it really that great. I'm sure you've heard me talk about it on the stream, but the gist is, my Nona had to be moved into a retirement home (well, she really should have been moved into a *care* home, which is very different, but that's a story for later) due to her advancing Alzheimer's, and it's been a little bit of  a hectic process, to say the least.

Actually, to say the least would be to say that it's been awful and stressful and I'm feeling like I need to take the role of counsellor for both my parents, and from what I've heard, that's not a healthy thing for me to have to do. But, I really don't like trauma dumping on people like this, so I'll just leave it at that for now.

In lighter news, while I haven't gotten to go ice skating yet, I did get a chance to go roller skating:

 And that's the only photo I got, because the place was packed, and I'm waaaaay too much of a chicken to record myself in public. Give me time. I will work on it lol

Also, those are not my skates. Those are rentals. I couldn't find my roller skates until the next day, which sucks because *my* roller skates are shiny and pink and fabulous :/ 

I'll have to go to the next roller skate thing so I can show them off to everyone :D

And that's honestly all I've got to share lol. Between my family drama, my hooman's family's struggles, and the general *gestures vaguely* everything-ness, it's been a little tricky to keep everyone updated on what's going on without feeling like I'm just complaining the entire time.

But I'm a stubborn bitch, so I'll keep focusing on the positives, while working through the negatives :)
