Added 2021-02-04 16:54:26 +0000 UTCOkay, I really didn't want to say any more on the matter, but it looks as though things are being taken out of my hands :P I've already had several people up their pledges by quite a bit, so I guess the only fair thing to do is what many of you have asked and create a higher tier.
Not sure what I can offer in recompense . I don't have time to create a lot of higher tier only stuff. Perhaps the option of being included in an in-game credits page or something? And a few proper (rather than blurred out) sneak peaks if people want to see them?
'Humbled' is an overused word, but appropriate in this case. I really am blown away by all your support. Thank you! Looks as though I'll be carrying on, piracy or no piracy!
*edit* I may leave off creating a new tier until the end of the month. I’m no expert on Patreon, but from what I’ve just read, it seems as though if I create a new tier, those who have already upped their pledges can’t be moved to it. So they’d miss out on anything extra. What I’ll probably do is create a new tier at the end of the month and those that wish to do so can join the tier then.

I think you're the first person (on here, at least...) to ask for hardcore sex scenes. No plans for that, I'm afraid. There are a multitude of games out there that already contain those. I'm hoping to have 0.6 finished over the weekend. I'll then spend a couple of days testing it. So, if I don't find any major issues, the test version should be ready early to mid next week.

2021-02-11 08:10:41 +0000 UTCI'm a lurker myself and very stingy with patreon but i can say without a shadow of a doubt this is the best renpy game i have ever played and since finding your 0.2 free version many months ago I've subbed and I will continue to sub even if you don't do the monthly releases like some other creators. The quality of your work is immense and seeing the pirate message you put out a few days ago and the "What next?" post really did suck to read and I hope you do continue to work on this project because it is so good. The sub will still be there from myself and so many others, i hope its enough to keep you on the project. Thank you for the work you've already done and what ever you decide know that you do have a community here that will support you even if there are some people willing to ruin it.

Not simultaneously, obviously, given that the amount of work would be crazy 🤯 A higher tier might come with rewards and some creative choices on the hypothetical sequel

And in any case, a great deal of the story (apart from all the bits I keep making up on the spur of the moment!) is already more or less finalised, so a lot of suggestions would probably have to be discarded. But fan images (Alice in a certain outfit, etc?) isn't a bad idea, depending on how much free time I have

Maybe over very minor features such as character or place names, sure, but democratizing game and story development seems ungainly and infeasible in the long run to me.

And I’m especially glad that the fans came together on this; to both root you on, and tell the pirates to go swivel on it.
