Not if I want to get it ready this year :p Joking apart, 0.6 is simply adding to what's already there, rather than anything 'new' as such. There'll be a little more backstory that I never had the time to add previously, as well as some new replayable scenes to hopefully make things a bit more interesting and less grindy.

I've already looked into this. I have a folder full of of .jpg images to drop into the game when it's ready for testing. They're currently not as compressed as your example, but they are typically 40-50% of the original size. If they all look okay on my test playthrough, I'll consider reducing them still further.

Please consider using lossless JPG in addition to PNG - the free megaupload limit is 5 gb, so people won't even be able to download the game in one go. I compressed one screen and then looked at part of it, compared to original. See example: https://imgur.com/a/xff6vgf

I have quite a few images that will never see the light of day. Tests, teasers, stuff that didn't work etc. I've been thinking for a while about uploading a few of them at some point. Or perhaps put a 'blooper' reel at the end of the game or something?

I like these images. Perhaps do a gallery once the game is complete to store them in once the story is completed?

Haha, that's already been suggested! But short of having Alice kidnapped and sold into slavery, I'm not sure how I can incorporate that into the plot.

I think it would be interesting to somehow integrate it into the story :)

Strangely enough, the expressions are identical. I copied the original (slim) pose verbatim including the expression to the fatter version. The difference is caused by them actually being completely different generations of models. But I liked the expression, so I left it as it was. The pics are already captioned, but if anyone can come up with better suggestions, feel free :)

Alice's expression of mild consternation in the second pic cracks me up XD. Caption contest anyone?
