This poll refers to the pictures below...
Added 2020-03-20 00:08:56 +0000 UTCWhich is which?
Patreon won't let me add more than one picture to a poll post, so this poll refers to the four pictures below!
As some of you know, I've been thinking about moving the Alice character (and possibly others) from the Genesis 3 model to Genesis 8 in Daz studio. This will allow me to take advantage of clothing that conforms better to her curves, as well as some new morphs for her expanding figure.
After a bit (okay, a lot) of tweaking the new model, the pics here are what I've come up with. In all instances, both models are the same weight, posed roughly the same (facial expressions will differ slightly), no makeup, identical clothes and no touching up whatsoever.
What I want to know is, can you guys tell the difference? In all four pics, the models are on the same side, so the original is either all on the left or all on the right.
And, if you can tell, I'd be very interested to know whether you think the models are close enough to make the switch, so please comment!

Out of curiosity, which ones was the new model used in with it.

2020-03-28 08:39:37 +0000 UTCThanks to everyone who voted. The majority of you voted for the model on the left being the original... give yourselves a pat on the back. You were right! Almost half the votes were either wrong or couldn't tell the difference. So I guess the models are close enough to make the switch. Which is good news as all my renders of Alice over the past week or so have been using the new model :P Oh, and a small confession. I actually used the new model a couple of times in the 0.2 demo to see if anyone would notice. Oooh, I'm sneaky :)
2020-03-27 11:32:08 +0000 UTCI have to guess that the original is on the right just because the one on the left seems to have a slightly recognizable increased sense of 'realism'. Slightly less gloss, slightly more texture, just a very subtle thing that could absolutely be my eyes messing with me, but still.

2020-03-20 19:24:52 +0000 UTCJust ignore the clothes, lighting and slighty different poses :) All I'm interested in at this point is whether the models are close enough to make the switch. Seems encouraging so far!:) And yes, I will reveal which is which at the end of the poll!
2020-03-20 18:01:15 +0000 UTCI'll say the original is probably left but outside slight different poses and such they look very similar

2020-03-20 14:59:00 +0000 UTCIt seems like the clothes on the right are catching the light a bit better - I don't know if that's necessarily a good thing as it could be due to an artificial effect, making them seem more "plasticky" than the matte clothing on the left.

2020-03-20 05:32:06 +0000 UTCI can't entirely tell which is which... but the right-side model in each pair is clearly higher fidelity and has a better shadow map, The real sellers, though, are the noticeable belly crease in the 3rd right, and that sexy ass lip bite in the 4th right.

2020-03-20 03:54:50 +0000 UTCThey are pretty similar but I'm fairly sure the Gen 8 is on the right due to the shading.

2020-03-20 03:50:33 +0000 UTCTo me, they are close enough that it wouldn't matter which is used. It could be the angle/setup on the pictures, but the one on the left appears to have better lighting, which allows for more definition on contours (cleavage on pic 2) and the colors and features of the face "pop" a bit more on picture 1. On picture 3, I do think it's the lighting configuration, but the shadows on the left image seem better, although I'm not sure what's happening with the waistband of her panties as they go around the hip lol. But yeah, I think whichever version is most comfortable for you to work with is the best, I'd be happy to see any of these images.

2020-03-20 01:42:55 +0000 UTCThe right appears to be slightly more defined, but they're exceedingly close.
2020-03-20 01:20:15 +0000 UTCBoth models use the original textures
2020-03-20 00:14:07 +0000 UTCThe right seems to look more textured.
