2024-05-05 21:26:27 +0000 UTCI’ve always felt like twitch has a higher barrier of entry for newer creators to get discovered and grow & YouTube just naturally gets more foot traffic (although other creators that do ASMR RPs that I follow are moving from YouTube to Twitch partially in fear of being taken down in the same way, but also bc a bigger audience can sometimes mean less savory characters who have a hard time separating the RP from the creator, saying nasty things live etc & even with mods I’m sure that’s hard to control and could be bad for your mental); I think it’s also convenient that YT can store archived VODs on a separate tab from regularly uploaded/scripted content but still on the same channel! sorry if my thoughts are jumbled I just got out of a night shift and then ran a 5k with my coworkers and I’m so out of shape and feel like dying but I’m looking forward to sleeping to this audio in a bit 🥲🥲
