You can now create a personality by speaking in English, instead of writing!
Just say (speak), at any time, a complete personality description and her personality will change.
You must say exactly (all in one recording): “My name is [your name]. Your name is [character’s name]. You are [describe her personality, then anything else about the context].” For example you could say “My name is John. Your name is Frank. You’re my friend from work and have always had a crush on my wife. We’re at my home sipping wine after a home cooked dinner and we’re starting to get a bit drunk.” You can only speak for a maximum of 30 seconds.
Save your password so you don't need to enter it each time
Open the AI Chat scene in Virt-a-Mate. It will create the following file. Put your password in that file and reload the scene: VaM/Saves/PluginData/vamX/vamX_ai_chat_enter_your_password_here.txt
Multi-language support
You can speak almost any language and have the AI reply in English. She can also now speak French, German, and Portuguese. Set your native language in the “I speak” drop down. The language drop down has an issue with mouse scroll wheels. To scroll down click or drag the side scroll bar. For non-English languages it’s better to say 3 or more words. One word answers are not always translated correctly.
You can select your language from the drop down, or set it to Auto Detect. If you select one of the “AI Also Speaks” languages (French, German, or Portuguese), she will understand and reply in that language. Other languages are translated first to English, and then she responds in English. If you set Auto Detect whatever language you speak will be translated to English (if possible).
Added Only Actions I Say and Actions I Say If Agreed
These limit the Actions to what you write, so if you write "Wear a red dress" she'll change into a red dress. But if she says I'm wearing a red dress, so will NOT change into a red dress. Changing to either "Actions I Say" item can reduce the number of random actions that happen, and speed up the system (less analysis as her text isn't analyzed for actions).

2023-08-19 06:27:09 +0000 UTCI understand that you need improvements from ooba / non-chatgpt. We will start to work on that once we finish some speed improvements for audio. We've been working recently on server stability and general speed improvements. As well as additional voices. Once these features are complete, we'll return to dealing with how to use ChatGPT, ooba, or alternatives to have better responses. We also need a delete last button, this should help with repetitiveness. Although ChatGPT is smarter than alternative LLMs / generates better text, you should be able to avoid repetitive text with ooba. For example try the Reply starts with (then click retry last), instruct, or just summarize the conversation and put it back up at the top in the personality, so the new personality can be a summary of the conversation, and then hit reset to clear the current conversation. We will continue to improve this over time, there are just so many places to improve. Let me know if things work better for you with these suggestions.

Elevenlabs shut down our IP due to the creation of many free accounts, which makes it seem like we are creating free accounts to get around paying. We'll announce the feature once finished. Meanwhile, it seems like in order to use elevenlabs voices in this way, they require a paid subscription. We will note that in that text box soon. Please try a paid subscription to elevenlabs.io, if you'd like to use ElevenLabs voices. I guess even though it's not what they write, they actually require paid subscriptions to use services like this, as multiple free subscriptions on a single domain cause a free subscription block automatically.

2023-08-18 14:56:17 +0000 UTCchat gpt is set to ultra prude right now... and without some input into the nsfw ooba chat the conversation stalls and just repeats... i told chatgpt ai they looked beautiful and it shutdown... one time i said i blushed and they shutdown... is ooba going to be able to have a full conversation anytime soon, without needing chat gpt to refresh the chat? obviously i paid for nsfw, otherwise i would just have a conversation with chatgpt on there website...

2023-08-18 11:32:21 +0000 UTCYou should be able to speak to it in Chinese, but the text to speech (her talking) doesn't yet support Chinese. Use the "I speak" drop down and set it so that you speak in Chinese (it will be auto translated to English).

2023-08-09 18:25:47 +0000 UTCIt's working pretty decent. There is some type of glitch that will teleport me halfway across the room away from the model. Also sometimes her words will respond, but she won't actually say it. I am using shortened speech and crop for speech.

2023-08-07 04:45:17 +0000 UTCWhen does it default back to Emily and Jack, when choosing a new personality? When choosing a personality it will change names, and not remember anything. If, during a conversation, you tell it a new name, it may be confusing to the AI, as the conversation includes the personality text at the very, very top of the page, which it always keeps. So make sure to change the name in the very, very top personality text, as that is the name that it knows. After you change that, click reset chat if possible, so that there isn't anywhere in the chat it has other names. Also, the personality stays but the chat history is lost over time, so the AI can't permanently remember anything outside of the personality, as the amount of input is very limited, and the way AI actually works is that each time you send the entire chat history and ask it what it should say next. But the input is limited to about 1000 words.

2023-08-07 04:37:12 +0000 UTCFirst of all, make sure you are set to Full Responses next to SFW ChatGPT. Tha tmight just solve your problem. Next, you really have to turn off speech if you want long output, so set Shortened speech to text only. Long speech takes a LONG time to generate and slows the servers for everyone. To have a conversation she needs to reply in short responses. You can always ask her "Tell me more". In general, this is mainly optimized for speech, as the goal here is to be able to have the VaM character speak. For this, short replies are required. Let me know if after all this, you still want longer, text-only, replies, as we could perhaps enable longer replies for text only.

2023-08-06 08:14:01 +0000 UTCThe responses are getting cut short very often. Is that a tts limitation? Oddly, letting it break up the responses doesn't help at all. It will send 2-3 short sentences as separate audio, but it cuts off mid sentence at the same length of total response. If prompted to continue, it rarely continues the thought in a sensible way. I have limited experience with chat gpt, but it was able to respond in multiple paragraphs as a complete thought. Something is breaking it's ability to do that here.

2023-08-06 07:53:43 +0000 UTCThere is a limit about about 1000 words that the AI can remember, so you may need to summarize things if you have a long conversation, so it can remember the key points. You can change the personality to summarize (personality is remembered always) or just break immersion for a second, set it to instruct mode (instead of chat) and try to tell it what's going on.

2023-08-06 04:34:54 +0000 UTCI don't think that always happens, but ooba isn't yet as good as chatgpt. Chatgpt runs on servers that cost more than we could afford. This is a quickly changing landscape, so both AIs will probably improve.

The ai chat window is working correctly, but the responses in the chat window are never converted into spoken voice. Thanks in advance for any tips on getting voice generation working again.

I noticed a bug when switching from chat gpt to OOMba and retrying the response... OOMBA answers the last response as the main character instead of themselves, its easy to fix, just copy and past their message and normal conversation will resume...

2023-08-05 18:14:35 +0000 UTCits also good to know we can only speak for 30 seconds... my ai demanded some very intensive tasks and sometimes i went over the 30 second barrier im sure... it just cut all the begining sentences out until it could fit into the 30 second timeframe... BTW Chat GPT is not so innocent :)

2023-08-05 18:09:16 +0000 UTCits very good, but the ai has issues creating and following the plot, it will only go so far before you have to recreate the plot and insert the next step... I also find that both the GPT and NSFW are required to have an enjoyful experience sometimes you can advance the plot by just switching AI models... I have a few ideas i will try next time (im into femdom and humiliations with JOI) I suppose if i added goals for the ai it may be more spontaneous in achieving them... (Btw it was very funny when the ai steup a scene where they made the female model crawl to them, crawling i guess requires a very large play space)
