I was a little frustrated at how static assets were. So it tried a few things and finally succeeded at making a small plugin that is able to bend assets!
Note that it won't work on any asset: it has to be compatible assets. I included a couple of them in this pack: a tube and a cable.
You can bend different parts of an asset (up to 4, depending on the asset) on 2 axis. This is callable through triggers, to you can play with them with buttons or with Timeline!
A demo scene is included.
This is a 1st version: it still look pretty rigid and for some reason the colliders won't work.
I'll try to improve this in the future!
Still, it opens up a lot of possibilities! :D
1) Add the "bendable" asset to the scene.
2) Add the "BendThings0.1.cs" plugin to the asset.
3) Open the plugin UI to bend the asset on 2 axis, on up to 4 parts (depending on the asset).
It works well with Blazedust's ColorScale, if you want to adjust the scale of the assets!
