2025-10-28 12:54:23 +0000 UTCI still use ping pong balls not king Kong's balls on a regular basis and The Hills Have eyes comment always cracks me up. Little homage to Pulp Fiction with the golden glow when opening the boot of the car

2025-10-14 03:46:30 +0000 UTCBe honest Peter kay is the best comedian to come out of the uk in the last 30yrs & what fantastic writing on here from him he’s a complete genius
Alex
2025-10-14 03:43:42 +0000 UTCSorry for any confusion Tom. We do have our schedule posted everywhere it will let us put it. Only Fools is in our Wednesday slot. It shares that slot with The IT Crowd. We swap back and forth series to series. So Only Fools will return Nov 5th.

2025-10-13 20:29:14 +0000 UTCCould any of you boys and girls let me know when season 2 of Only Fools & Horses is planned for? Is it after another show ends? Much obliged!
Tom
2025-10-13 20:26:15 +0000 UTCN.U.S is National Union of Students. They used to have a card that would get you discounts at a load of shops and bars
Harry Bond
2025-10-13 08:50:55 +0000 UTCI was going to post the same thing. It's absolutely tailor-made for Jess.

2025-10-13 01:03:28 +0000 UTCI've had that done a couple of times, and that's twice too many for me.

2025-10-12 22:23:47 +0000 UTCHave you been brave or stupid enough to call Jess a dickhead yet Mike?
Josh Read
2025-10-12 21:22:05 +0000 UTCyou have to watch Peter Kay's Car Share where you will fall in love with Sian Gibson who plays young mary here
hogweed
2025-10-12 19:36:45 +0000 UTCJess laughing at the moon was my highlight ✨️
Josh Read
2025-10-12 18:42:42 +0000 UTCIn the outtakes for this show you get to see how the cast really struggled keeping it together for that end audition segment. They just couldn't do it so left in them all breaking.
Tass
2025-10-12 17:12:49 +0000 UTCNUS equals National union of Students. Basically a student card for discounts
Mike Doel
2025-10-12 16:40:16 +0000 UTCWill Jerry get the all clear from his tests? Will he bail out on the Phoenix and go on the Cruise ships? Dave Spikey (Jerry) is a real-life stand-up comedian and is one of the co-writers with Peter and Ray Von ( Neil Fitzmaurice).

2025-10-12 16:28:17 +0000 UTCI love the Godot joke 😂
Kieran B
2025-10-12 16:22:29 +0000 UTCYou definitely need to watch That Peter Kay Thing if you want to see him play different roles - it was the series he did immediately before this
Kieran B
2025-10-12 16:09:21 +0000 UTCThat was an oesophagus rather than a bowel on the screen I think
Kieran B
2025-10-12 16:04:55 +0000 UTCThe part that was skipping , Jerry was offered a job on a cruise ship
Mark Rudd
2025-10-12 15:38:25 +0000 UTCYou got the bacon slicer joke haha. Spot on
Mark Rudd
2025-10-12 15:34:58 +0000 UTCI have the camera every couple of years and I’ve 100 % learnt to never look at the screen ever again 😆seeing that part just brought back some horrible visions haha
Mark Rudd
2025-10-12 15:10:10 +0000 UTCLancashire and Yorkshire have always been the same to me but with that rivalry ver who does it best haha. The club life was the same in both parts from what I remember as a kid. Miss those days as not many places still operate like this 😭
Mark Rudd
2025-10-12 15:08:22 +0000 UTCI remember that joke and never understood it haha
Mark Rudd
2025-10-12 15:04:21 +0000 UTCThis show was such a good shout I never seen it all when it was on TV, caught bits and bobs, but its just Peter Kay comedy in a absolute nutshell, genius, and such a great depiction of the old school kinda bowling club/social club nights, gives me total nostalgia. You know Max and Paddy has to be the follow up to this.. classic comedy. You 2 are smashing it!
Paul
2025-10-12 13:14:21 +0000 UTC“Our very own Davros” Davros - leader of the Daleks (from Dr Who)

Emily
2025-10-12 11:36:30 +0000 UTCIf you watch the bloopers, you’ll see how they all laugh for real - the ending audition here has to be a genuine take they just decided to leave in and run with 😂
Mark Grainger
2025-10-12 11:32:23 +0000 UTCI've seen way too many men's asses on this channel 😂

2025-10-12 10:58:38 +0000 UTCAll pretty and sparkly! ✨️
Emily
2025-10-12 10:56:17 +0000 UTCThe “king kongs balls” joke is something that is in every Peter Kay show. The joke is that you always only hear the end of the joke so you don’t know the context.
Peter Fletcher
2025-10-12 10:54:36 +0000 UTCWe say it down 'ere in Brizzle too! 🤓
Emily
2025-10-12 10:52:56 +0000 UTCHappy 74th birthday to Dave spikey (Jerry Sinclair) for last week.

2025-10-12 10:52:48 +0000 UTCLast comment, I promise 😂 Just to explain that “an’ all” is an expression, possibly just up north I’m not sure. It just means the same as ‘too’ or ‘as well’. So in the punchline of the bacon slicer joke he said “I sacked her an’ all”. I’m just explaining coz I remember Brian said this in the first episode and Jess thought he said “in the hole”. It’s worth explaining coz you’ll probably hear it a lot in northern comedies 😊
Emma Edwards
2025-10-12 10:50:15 +0000 UTCnus - national union of students - will get a discount at some establishments
Kiwi Tau
2025-10-12 10:36:58 +0000 UTCRegeneration nation taking us back to the future, torturing us with a week long wait for a new episode. Loving the reactions as usual though
Paul Hennessey
2025-10-12 10:12:15 +0000 UTCHope you can find the blooper reels which were at the end of the dvd .
John Rivenell
2025-10-12 09:34:29 +0000 UTCNot seen anyone mention it yet, but NUS is just a student ID thing, sometimes used for student discounts, but not usually as official ID for age.
Jamie Derry
2025-10-12 09:05:55 +0000 UTC" How far away are they" oh my days, i just nearly spat my brew out 🤣

2025-10-12 08:27:39 +0000 UTCYou can’t have dinner at lunchtime unless it’s Sunday, ya mentalist 😎

2025-10-12 08:02:37 +0000 UTCProper Old School Northern humour this
David JB
2025-10-12 07:48:27 +0000 UTCFwiw, they were genuinely laughing at the end, that wasnt scripted. Neither was the "you're booked! We'll av ya!"
Daz Parker
2025-10-12 07:45:56 +0000 UTCBloody, absolutely loved this one guys
Daz Parker
2025-10-12 07:45:17 +0000 UTCI reckon those reactions at the end were genuine. If you like Peter Kay, as a one-off you really should watch his talent show parody: Britain's Got the Pop Factor... and Possibly a New Celebrity Jesus Christ Soapstar Superstar Strictly on Ice. It’s phenomenally good
Adam
2025-10-12 07:37:10 +0000 UTCEveryone loves Jerry, what a character, in fact each one serves a purpose
Christian Rolfe
2025-10-12 07:24:37 +0000 UTCI think it was me in the discord chat 🤣 Up north, or at least where I am, it’s breakfast, dinner and tea. In other places it’s breakfast, lunch and dinner or some other variation.
Emma Edwards
2025-10-12 07:19:15 +0000 UTCOthers have explained NUS is just a card that students have to get a discount in some places. It went right over Max’s head and he thought NUS was a drug, like LSD or something.
Emma Edwards
2025-10-12 07:14:55 +0000 UTCThe Robot Wars edition of 'Spaced' with Simon Pegg and Nick Frost is brilliant. In fact Spaced would be a great reaction show for you both.
Matt King
2025-10-12 07:05:02 +0000 UTCJerry is great . I love the genuine reaction from the cast to the audition at the end
Erica
2025-10-12 06:49:21 +0000 UTCNUS is the National Union of Students and their card gets discount in some places.
Harry
2025-10-12 06:27:40 +0000 UTC👆 This. Sorry didn't see someone has already explained it.
Thomas Birch
2025-10-12 06:20:11 +0000 UTCNUS is National Union of Students. A membership students can join. One of the benefits is it offers some discounts off drinks/food and/or admissions to some student bars around UK universities. Obviously, he was thinking she was talking about some drug. A very nuanced joke.
Thomas Birch
2025-10-12 06:18:19 +0000 UTCLooking very glamorous today, Jess!
Jennifer
2025-10-12 06:16:55 +0000 UTCNUS is a National Union of Students card used to get discounts and Max thought she was referring to some drugs.
