He just sees Human beings and therefore he creates that scenario in his head as if that was the case. I think historically racism is completely different in America and Britain. I remember stories of ww2 American soldiers not happy black people were allowed in the pubs so the British said fine no Americans allowed. Karl I think just can't wrap his head around racism to that degree so is trying to bring it down to his level which would be having a shit day at work or something.
