Ali G seems pretty tame compared to some of the stuff that went down in London back then. The Sex Pistols were mentioned last week. One of them turned 70 last week and he was the one who called the presenter a ‘dirty f*cker’ live on TV on an early evening TV show. I remember watching it live with my mum as a teenager.

Most the clips are when he went to America, I'd forgotten he did a UK show. It would be interesting to see his 'This is America' show he did before the first Trump presidency. It was completely new characters and absolutely wild.
