Subscriber from Inverness in the Scottish Highlands here! I was at this gig and saw Gerry 4 times that year. Impossible to dislike a guy who can control a crowd the way he does with a guitar and a loop pedal. I would say that people like Gerry and Kevin Bridges represent Glasgow culture. We’re a bit different up north, and Glasgow itself is as unique as a place and a people can be, in a good way of course.

As an Englishman with only one generation my Nan and Grandad of my Scottish family descending down to London I never knew about Gerry...My friend also a Scottish/ Englishman/ British man randomly said to me have you heard of Gerry Cinnamon ? I said who ? Then checked him out.... he is my favourite solo artist and pisses all over Robbie Williams in my opinion and I love Robbie as a music artist x

So TRNSMT is a music festival that runs every year in a park called Glasgow Green which unsurprisingly is in Glasgow. If you guys do come to Scotland Definitely visit Edinburgh for a couple days as its beautiful and like a fantasy world and is always so buzzing in the summer. But definitely also come through and spend a day or 2 in Glasgow before the Highlands if you can and maybe some kind hearted local like myself might offer to give you the Still Game location tour and in the accent Jess loves so much 😂
