Big Channel Update: New Shows, New Schedule!

Hey friends!
We just wrapped up our massive TV Show Tournament, and wow! What an incredible ride. Peep Show may have taken the win, but more importantly, the entire community won. The feedback, the passion, and the conversations we’ve had throughout this have been everything we could hope for.
As we move forward, here’s how our weekly schedule will look starting in August, with exact start dates for each new show:

Sunday – TV Show Reactions
Peep Show replaces The Inbetweeners ➤ Begins August 3rd
The Moaning of Life replaces An Idiot Abroad ➤ Begins September 14th
These shows are each other’s spiritual successors, and while they won’t rotate exactly the way we planned, we think this lineup is the fairest way to honor the vote and momentum.
Monday – Comedy Reactions
Cunk on Britain began last week and is off to a brilliant start
Da Ali G Show joins the rotation ➤ Begins September 1st
Once both are finished, we’ll figure out together what takes over next. The laughter continues either way!
Tuesday – TV Show Reactions
Still Game returns ➤ Begins August 12th
Extras takes over for The Office UK ➤ Begins September 16th
Still Game isn't going anywhere for a while, and Extras feels like the perfect next step.

This slot is now fully dedicated to Would I Lie To You? and Taskmaster full episodes.
Taskmaster ➤ Begins August 7th
Would I Lie To You? ➤ Begins September 18th
These shows are a huge undertaking — we’ll be watching them for years to come, and we couldn’t be more excited about it.

A lot is changing. Most of our polls are going away, but they’ll never be forgotten. They’ve shaped this next phase and showed us just how passionate and supportive this community really is.
Things will continue to evolve, and we’re just as much on this ride as you are. We’re so excited for what’s ahead, and we hope that shows through in every reaction we share with you.

I personally would go for Father Ted over It Crowd but it would have been great to see a more modern comedy in there, After Life aside. Fleabag would be perfect reaction material - two short seasons with a mix of comedy, emotional moments but also females leading the way. It is a modern classic British comedy and endlessly rewatchable.

I think Episode 2 of series 1 is a great episode as well though. bxkid7 Loved Only Fools as well. So does Taffe316, who said along with Father Ted, it's been the favourite thing he's reacted to.

From my one viewing of it years ago, I mostly remember it being smug, emotionally manipulative mawkish shit with none of the subtlety of 'The Office' and 'Extras', an opinion only enforced by YouTube video essays on the steep decline of Ricky Gervais' recent work I've watched afterwards. It's so difficult to please everyone but you've found a way to do just that. Hats off to you both, honestly! 👏❤️💙🙏 17th October and OFAH premiere is *the* date in my calendar, and I can't wait. King Boomer wasn't bluffing with his praise of the show - I saw it all for myself. He absolutely adored it by the end, and he darn well enjoyed the ride too. It starts off unassuming, and becomes.... well.... The first 1-2 series of OFAH are decent but trust me, it is a show that grows and explodes with quality in the best way. Not even for political reasons, sketch comedy has just evolved so much since that the old 'repeated character/catchphrase' format just doesn't hold up I don't think.

There's no need to and the earlier episodes aren't as good, it is probably best to just choose random episodes. If you do watch in order, please start with S3 though as it isn't the same without Rob Brydon hosting. I don't think anyone will mind. Also, just want to say I appreciate your efforts to try and keep everyone happy. The new schedule is very fair and nicely varied.

Something for most people. A pre-emptive strike at most of the militant, self-appointed comedy-expert moaners. The next phase of polling should throw up some left-field but brilliant comedies as well as some classics you've yet to experience e.g. Blackadder, the Alan Partridge and Chris Morris canons, Peter Kay stuff etc.
