Good shit. I can hear V's voice actor in my head perfectly saying those last lines. Now that I think about it, it honestly is kind of weird how Rogue just stood aside and let V become King of the Afterlife. I got swept up in the 'coolness' of it all so I never really gave it much thought. Maybe she saw the way the tide was turning in terms of the real power in Night City and like V says here, let him take over knowing his time was limited and she'd be back at the helm soon enough. Or maybe she thought if she stayed Queen she'd be ending up as a drink at the Afterlife sooner rather than later and wanted to slip from the limelight. But frankly I also like this take on it that Night City has just worn her down and she was grateful to be able to step down. Being THE fixer for 30 plus years in a city that saps your soul without any real peer to talk to has to be pretty damaging. Good thing V is here to give her a much needed wake-up call.

Oh, Rogue can solo thing first and take a pound of proverbial flesh for screwing around with her...but thank V for the kick in the pants and start a new chapter by inviting Alt to join her in fucking V.

If V wants to get Rogue on side and still have her be part of his circle of lovers, the angry and makeup sex is the best option. Who's to say she won't scratch the shit out of him or the other things that tend to happen during angry sex. She can even kiss it better if it devolves to makeup sex.
