Added 2024-08-13 12:53:12 +0000 UTCMy dear supporter ABZ commissioned another illustration with the character Bella from the artist DrPinkCake, from the Being a Dick series.
Once again he wanted it like the Ada scene in Addiction has a Price but with Bella as the protagonist.
He wants to recreate a short sequence using Bella and the scenes he likes the most from AHAP.
After almost two years the difference is quite apparent between the two versions. The quality of the illustrations has changed a lot but unfortunately the number of patreons has not.
Yesterday I stayed up until two in the morning trying to publish this illustration as soon as possible but it's no use. The world we live in has become sick and most people don't value anything anymore. I have very loyal patrons who value my work and are always supporting me but unfortunately the page was not what I imagined.
When I started the page about three years ago my goal was to reach at least 300 patreons in two years. With this amount, minus the absurd taxes, I could have a better quality and more dignified life. But three years have passed and that is far from happening.
I invested heavily in equipment, destroyed my health, studied a lot to improve the quality of the material more and more, deprived myself of several things in my life. But things simply do not happen.
I do not know if the problem is me, my work, the world, the people, or all of these things together... I just know that I am tired of not getting fair recognition for the effort I make. Maybe that is it, maybe my work. I keep lying to myself saying that things will get better, that they will get better, and three years have already passed, I am more tired, older, worn out, discouraged and as poor as before. Maybe it is time to accept defeat and rethink life.
Sorry for the outburst, but I am really fed up with being poor and very frustrated for not having achieved my goals. That is it.

Yup, it pains me to say but at this point I think BDC need to choose quantity over quality. He needs to put out more simpler arts to release for free to get recognition. Down size the amount of people in a render, choose simpler background, use more famous models. etc. The majority of people won't stumble upon this page on their own nor can they recognize the small details that BDC put effort into.

Secondly i think "ininihbubiybg ygvuyfvtf" is extreme right you gotta stop trying to be the nice guy and respecting the rule of "OC pls don't steal" All the the big hentai artists i know of, draw every popular character under the sun and they get popular from it, personally i found out about you with the birthday gift series with Karen and Joyce and love YOUR version of the character not the original. It's hard and slow getting subscribers but please don't give up you've got what it takes to make it big. Bring back the teen girls bring back the old characters and new popular characters be more active on social media will get you more results.

And 'Being a DIK' is a rather popular Adult Visual Novel with beloved characters, especially the girls in it (i.e. Bella). Fanart like this one and the one prior would most likely pull from that crowd of fans.

I DO NOT agree with this sentiment, I think majority of your OCs are wayyy hotter than any other characters created by other people, but it seems like this is what will get you notice by new people.

2024-08-13 17:39:58 +0000 UTCDon’t get discouraged, come up with new methods to get your work out there. For example, maybe do some more PG-13 work with the same girls and build up an Instagram to then funnel to Patreon. Reality is that Patreon doesn’t really funnel on its own.

That money ain’t going to make me rich or poor 🤷🏼♂️
