There is a lot of ground to cover with who gazza is. There is much more than in this doc. He is very troubled and had some childhood trauma that messed him up. He was a bit like a big kid, but an amazing footballer. Here is a short vid on his goals and skills. https://youtu.be/Lg2w0kmbtZc?feature=shared He was also known as a larger than life mad man joker and prankster. Here is a link if you want to see some more of that! https://youtu.be/5h-7m1K_Wz0?feature=shared

Can I suggest Educating Yorkshire...I think you might find it at least somewhat interesting to see how most of our public schools are

The quarter-final v unfancied Wales was a good open game but obviously the stakes were not as high as for the Final.

Re,. 'Gazza's Tears' you need to read up on the English footballer Paul Gascoigne before watching it. Also bear in mind English football had gone through troubled times in the 1970's and 80's prior to this World Cup in 1990. The England team poorly performed mostly, there was crowd violence/rioting at club games and the stadiums were in poor/run-down condition.

I agree. Checked this vid out and, with respect, can see it being a tad tedious for Mike and Jess. I say that as an Englishman and a football fan. Same with the rugby one, and I love my rugby, too.

"Inside of..." and "outside of..." being very irritating Americanisms that seem to have become normalized British speech and writing in recent years now too!

Got to be England winning the Rugby World Cup in 2003. A brilliant but nail biting match! Unmissable.

It must be an older youtube video they are planning to watch,as Swedish people are far from happy in 2025,there has been a dramatic increase of crime in recent years, gun violence has gone right up,with 1 shooting per day on average, they have quite a high gang violence over there at the minute too, with plenty of 'no go areas' even for police and so on and so on,so the above video is pointless in the current modern Europe

Nope. I'm Welsh. Can never watch it again 🤣

The Secret City Inside of London is great, but note that it has a follow-on video which is really good too called “London’s Secret Mayor who runs The Secret City”. Each video is only 5 minutes long, so perhaps you could even do two videos in one reaction? 😇

Jack

Went for the Gazza documentary. it's good documentary. It does touch on the Hillsborough disaster, which is a HUGE thing itself that deserves it's own video. I added a video on that to the list. There is a excellent movie on it too, which I have, highly recommended.

Danny

I went 2003, even as a Scot, the rules of the rugby world cup are - your nation (Scotland), home nation (England, Wales, Scotland) and then Northern Hemisphere. And England did it, the only NH nation to win a world cup. The Southern Hemisphere have won every other world cup. England losing in football is normal, as much as Gazza is fun, it's the norm.

Andy

Watching Gazza tears without any context of who Gazza was doesnt seem right 😭

James Welsh

You should into Elizabeth our platinum Queen, it’s goes into the history of our late Queen life. You’ve both said you’d like to look into HM life, and that be a perfect starting place,

Scott Peters

I voted for the Swedish one, which has no chance of winning, but we are going to Stockholm next month, so I’m curious.
