Option 3 really is the only way forward...Team Thad only just managed to eke out a draw with Sinister by fighting him on home turf and Selene is too old of a being to have not built up the capability of being just as dangerous playing away as she is in a home game, so to speak. Get Thad's skills and abilities padded out more while bedding useful allies...maybe see where Thad's luck powers from Domino takes him.

2025-06-30 03:37:25 +0000 UTCSelene's life-drain is stronger than Rogue's, and Thaddeus' has not even reached Rogue's level from before he started fucking her, I think. Her telepathy is stronger than Emma's and it's the same situation there. Unless the marathon they had a while ago made him reach the level Emma had before they started? Additionally Selene has telekinesis and sorcery. Thaddeus has luck on his side, but how far could luck alone take them? I think they need to expand his arsenal a bit more and strengthen what he already has too. I don't think the surprise factor counts for much against an immortal with tons of experience. And ambushing her when she comes for Madelyne sounds just as likely to succeed. About the chapter, why was Cessily not there with them? She seems to always be literally draped over Thaddeus.

2025-06-30 03:32:01 +0000 UTCMaybe Magik would be a good choice, i mean she's associated with the x-men and could be gotten to by Kitty, whose supposed to be a close friend due to past relationship with Magiks brother....or perhaps an Asgardian like Sif or Amora....or perhaps a female avatar of Cytorakk (admittedly not sure how that would work since the power comes from Cytorrak, but it's there)....other then that, maybe bonding Rogue some more would help, absorbing Selenes life force as she attempts to siphon his is at least a defense, even if things end up in a stalemate
