We did give updates during the intro no? Our TV shows rotate out. Still Game has taken place of The Office until season 2 wraps up

2025-04-14 14:30:19 +0000 UTCI remember watching this in Britain at the time it first aired when I was a teenager, just before heading into my first Summer job at a call centre. I wondered at the time how representative it would turn out to be of what I was heading into. Looking back over the two decades that have passed since and still working in an office (albeit in a different field).. I must say this programme really has aged like fine wine. It’s a joy rewatching this with you guys as you have a proper appreciation of the notes it hits despite the ‘cultural differences’. Rewatching this many years since, it’s interesting the things that stand out more once you’re older; the fear of being stuck in a rut, the mundanity of each day, the office politics, the close bonds you can develop with a colleague whether romantic or platonic, the transience of people coming and going and a burning question inside Brent touches upon on the closing monologue in this one; is it all worth it/what was the point…Can’t wait for season 2 which in my opinion is even better. As others have said please watch the specials concurrently without gaps - trust us
