A little gift to myself 😊

Hey guys. Stopping by to share with you another achievement for the page and for the BDC project.

These days I decided to give myself a gift that I needed and wanted for a long time. It is a professional monitor calibrator.

This science of colors, etc is very complicated, but roughly speaking. The artist needs to see the purest and most faithful colors possible on his monitor. If my monitor has distorted colors, too black, too bright, too green, too magenta, red, etc... When I do post production in Photoshop I will make the wrong decisions, for example.

If my monitor shows me greenish colors, in post production I will add more magenta to "correct". But it's actually just my monitor that's showing me this. In this case, when you look at the illustrations on other devices, the colors may be very saturated and with a lot of red and magenta. I put more magenta because my monitor deceived me, and not because I really needed it.

I'm going to do the first calibration this morning and see if everything works out.

I am very happy and excited to be able to achieve new achievements and also to be able to gradually improve the quality of the illustrations on the page.
