Karl's question "how would I know which one I was" was completely logical. Ricky and Steve already set the parameters by saying the clone would think the same and react the same. That would only be possible if had the exact same memories and experiences. If it was just a genetic copy with a completely blank slate mind, it wouldn't think the same at all.

If Ricky told the riddle correctly the answer he gave is the only answer as far as I'm aware. The way he laid it out it's an unbelievably simple riddle "how many legs do I have?", "what colour is the sky?". It's actually a good riddle/logical question. The week after the actual show they did get loads of emails correcting the riddle but obiously this is an extremely cut back version of the podcasts.

In the original unedited podcasts you do get a fair bit more out of Stephen

Ricky's correction was wrong as well. Where he messed up is in saying that it's the guard to Hell that always lies, and the one to Heaven that always tells the truth. In the actual riddle, you don't know which one is the liar - you just know that one always lies and one always tells the truth. You can ask either guard anything you like and it would obviously be easy to find out which one is the liar by asking "what colour is my t-shirt?" or whatever, but that doesn't help you figure out which door is which. Only the question that is the actual answer to the riddle does that.

His stand up of same name also very good

Is that a different slot to Still Game? Like will that come back after the office?

Chrono_Punk

Stephen had a series called Hello Ladies set in L.A if I remember right, it was a while ago but was very funny

In Jess's defence, the guards don't have any knowledge other than what's behind their door and the existence of the other guard. So asking any question to see if the guard tells the truth or lies, such as "What's my mother's name?" or "What colour is my t-shirt?" wouldn't work for this riddle. Jess correctly questions prior knowledge. In Mike's defence, Ricky doesn't make this clear and explains the riddle badly, omitting this detail. This is something on the podcasts (from which this show is made) he goes on to clarify later - "Assume no prior knowledge" he explains. πŸ™

Look forward to these later😊

I think once they finish Idiot Abroad S2

Ricky messed up the guards riddle, because the way he phrased it, you could just ask "have I got 2 legs?" or whatever. The whole point of the riddle is that you don't know if the liar is the one guarding the door to heaven or hell; you just know that one always tells the truth and the other always lies.

Sigma

When are we getting S2 of the inbetweeners?

Josh

yaaaay, livestream today?
