Only fools and horses would be amazing yea alot of them, I met David jason recently at the only fools and horses convention and we spoke about open all hours that was another incredibly funny series I vote only fools and horses and open all hours, Ronnie barker was so funny in that.

2025-03-24 16:12:16 +0000 UTCIts timeless comedy. Kinda slapstick. That particular video has several of his most famous tricks in it too

2025-03-11 15:29:25 +0000 UTCYou're reading something into my comment that wasn't there, quite simply.

2025-03-11 14:29:20 +0000 UTCYeah that's my vote. Maybe hasn't aged well, I'd still like to see a reaction one day.
Andy
2025-03-11 13:37:24 +0000 UTCI was hardly hostile, just bemused by your superior tone. It seemed beneath you that someone could like something that is genuinely funny. This is, after all, a poll for a comedy reaction.

2025-03-11 13:18:10 +0000 UTCI deleted my comments because I am tired of negative reactions by various patrons to simple expressions of opinion. It's something one or two newcomers have noted too with surprise. I've always been friendly towards you Thomas, so I don't understand why you should react in a hostile fashion to entirely innocent comments (I should maybe point out that I am an atheist myself, but that doesn't make me incapable of disliking the hatred and pomposity displayed by Muggeridge and the archbishop). Anyway, don't worry: I don't intend to renew my membership here, because I have better things to do with my life than waste it on negativity. I've decided to keep just my DeviantArt membership, where everyone is truly friendly and happy to talk. It's a shame inasmuch as I like Mike and Jess and would have liked to continue to support them.

2025-03-11 13:00:09 +0000 UTCWhat I am trying to figure out is why you would delete your comments. Suggests to me that you are not convinced by your own arguments. Also, I wouldn’t say Monty Python were one of my favourites. I liked Life Of Brian, true, and one or two sketches, but grew tired of people older than me constantly quoting them or putting on silly voices. I described Python as ‘The Beatles of Comedy’ in the 60s, but I’ve also made it clear that I’m not a fan of The Beatles. I’m not familiar with the Muggeridge/Bishop thing, and couldn’t care less about any blasphemy accusations as I have never been religious.

2025-03-11 06:46:53 +0000 UTCYou guys have to watch Only Fools and Horses and Blackadder too

2025-03-10 23:34:51 +0000 UTCWould that be the same Malcolm Muggeridge and the Archbishop of Canterbury who famously castigated Michael Palin and John Cleese on the BBC for supposedly blaspheming by making the film satire The Life Of Brian (by one of your favourites, Monty Python)? Go figure! 🤪
Eddy
2025-03-10 22:51:23 +0000 UTCThat would be my favourite too. He's in a league of his own.
Eddy
2025-03-10 22:46:58 +0000 UTCOk, the second and third comments now make it look as though I have been talking to myself, when I was in fact responding to a baffling, since deleted couple of replies, to my initial comment on Ali G interviewing the Beckhams, which included mention of Malcolm Muggeridge and the Archbishop of Canterbury. Go figure.
Thomas
2025-03-10 21:54:59 +0000 UTCI don’t know where we are going with this. I watched something, it made me laugh. Simple as. Also, the Beckhams then were quite different to what they are now. My lads were barely school age then and we were regulars at Manchester United. The boys worshipped him, and he was the one player who always took time to sign autographs and chat. So watching that David Beckham, as he was on Ali G, also brings back nice memories of that time.

2025-03-10 19:54:51 +0000 UTCIt doesn't look like itd win, but definitely Tommy Cooper. He's a magician, but his thing is doing tricks wrong. He tells jokes too, usually puns
Danny
2025-03-10 19:52:43 +0000 UTCIt would be so cool to see what you guys make of Tommy Cooper. Fair to say he was unique - and absolutely hilarious.

2025-03-10 19:25:51 +0000 UTCOmg I want Sarah, Peter and Micky 😫!!! Impossible choice🤦♀️😂

2025-03-10 18:48:52 +0000 UTCWhenever a short clip wins you could potentially pick 2 or 3 clips and do them on the same video
Julian T
2025-03-10 18:46:05 +0000 UTCNo prizes for guessing what will win this.
Andy
2025-03-10 17:47:21 +0000 UTCI just found it funny. Aren’t all celebrities ‘in on the joke’ in chat shows?
Thomas
2025-03-10 17:29:17 +0000 UTCIt has to be Ali G... But that clip is way too short, possibly look at a few clips or a compilation to get a better feel of the character
CONALL MCLAUGHLIN
2025-03-10 16:51:25 +0000 UTCAli G. This one is a bit short. My fave Ali Gs are the Harvard Commencement speech and, of course, his interview with the Beckhams.

2025-03-10 16:25:54 +0000 UTCAlig G all the way. We need to build them up to Borat-levels
