Hey guys.
It's early morning here and I need to go to sleep. I tried everything I could during the day, I searched the entire internet but all my attempts were unsuccessful. I tried with 4 different HDS but was unsuccessful.
At the end of the afternoon I remembered that on my old PC I could make the clone without any problems. Luckily I still have it here and it took a while but I got it working.
It seems to be going faster and the status is now above the 78% it was stuck at last time.
The process goes quickly up to 72% but when it starts copying the source disk it becomes very slow, on average 7% every 3 hours.
I hope this time it works and that it will be over tomorrow morning.
I'm upset because I've never gone this long without publishing anything. It makes me sad to see so many people leaving the page perhaps because of this. But, what can I do besides trying to solve it and structure myself better so that it doesn't happen again?
It seems that this problem has to do with Bios UEIFF or Legacy, and MBR or GPT... those things... but at the moment I didn't have time to delve deeper into the subject despite having researched a lot. Tests are difficult and time-consuming.
Well, whether everything goes well or not, tomorrow I'll be back to work on the publications even if something happens, leaving it to clone the system for another time even at the risk of losing everything. I can't go that long without publishing stories.
Thank you all very much for your support and understanding! π
