Always love the American's saying about Kevin's thick Scottish accent. Especially being from Scotland and you know he's toning it down for his shows. You guys might be alright now though that you've done a good few of Kevin's videos now and the Still Game episodes. Think ye's might hiv' the patter doon tae a tea by noo.

2025-02-15 22:51:44 +0000 UTCI'm from Glasgow, the people generally are great and funny and generally very friendly, but it can be a very dangerous place; it's an industrial/working class city, and it has a tough reputation. As nice as the people are, don't mess with them. The old school London gangsters used to call Glasgow "the Wild West"; they say there was more violence in 2 weeks in Glasgow than the Kray & Richardson gangs in London did in their whole careers. Remember this is the city where a suicide Jihad terrorist crashed a burning jeep into Glasgow Airport's main entrance and set himself on fire, and still managed to get an absolute kicking from the locals! π€£

Snowden was maybe just before or about the same time as this clip? But yeah, I think the average person is aware now nothing is free. If you use the service you're handing over your data and that's being sold. A bit like our NHS, it's "free" at the point of use. You don't need money to receive treatment, but ideally you have and you will contribute to paying that. If we didn't, it wouldn't exist. The classic Americanism is - this is why we don't have free healthcare - and then it cuts to some extreme military expenditure.

2025-02-11 17:16:55 +0000 UTCI worked e few times in Glasgow when I used to do the production for a dance music tour; it's a long way to drive from London in a day and have to rig the same day, but I loved it there. Really friendly people. It's poor areas are the poorest in the UK though, and the life expectancy medieval.

My hubby got a photo with him at a Celtic match . He said the young ones were shouting some of his material at him and said it was cringy. As you can see from my profile photo I love to visit Edinburgh, itβs 50 mins away by train and itβs just beautiful. A different vibe from Glasgow I will say that but stunning . I hope you guys do visit . I am a new subscriber and love to see you react to Scottish humour π΄σ §σ ’σ ³σ £σ ΄σ Ώβ€οΈ
