A Difficult Update – Taking Time to Mourn

We have some tough news to share. Some of our reactions for this week won’t be happening as planned. Yesterday morning, Jess’s younger cousin tragically ended his life. We need more time to grieve before jumping back into recording, and we truly appreciate your understanding.
We hear from so many of you about how our videos brighten your days and help you through tough times, and that means the world to us. But if we’re honest, we wish our content could have that same impact on those closest to us, too. Both of us have loved ones who struggle—what feels like generational cycles of poverty, addiction, prison, and suicide. Entire families caught in a pattern that feels impossible to break. We do our best to be there, but sometimes, it just isn’t enough.
Sharing this isn’t easy, but we believe there’s good that can come from it. Awareness. It makes you stop and think about what more you could have done. It makes you notice those around you who may still be suffering. And it reminds you to appreciate what you have—because life is fragile.

Sometimes life is too cruel for people to have to keep suffering, and if its in silence suicide is relief from constant suffering due to many reasons, financial, addiction, pain, abuse, homelessness, shame,health reasons etc etc Coping rather than living. Its important we look into peoples eyes and that will tell you how a person really is feeling. We all need to be aware of those we love and check in on them more. That doesnt mean we should just refer them to counselling or to a doctor and walk away, it means actively being there for them. RIP to your Cousin, he/she isnt suffering anymore. I hope you saw him before he passed, i didn't get to as he went quick and he had moved to cornwall, hope your family and friends are supportive, mine is a split family but it's different for everybody but still leaves a big hole where we expect them to be even though we tried to conceive they wouldn't always be there . best wishes tho.

I've had a difficult 15 years of health issues, both physical and mental, and I'm not sure I would have survived it without support from family. It's never any consolation to those left behind, but it does highlight the need to brighten someone's day and not judge what they are going through.
