New Thursday Slot & Exciting PO Box Announcement!
Added 2025-01-29 21:50:17 +0000 UTCHey friends!
We’ve made a decision for our Thursday slot, and we’re excited to share it with you! Instead of lumping panel and talk shows into the comedy category, we’re giving them their own dedicated day. This means we can get them into the rotation much quicker!
🎤 New Thursday Slot: Panel & Talk Shows!
We’ve already reacted to shows like:
✔️ Would I Lie To You?
✔️ 8 Out of 10 Cats Does Countdown
✔️ The Graham Norton Show
…and many more!
Now, these types of videos will have their own space on Thursdays, so keep the suggestions coming! Here’s the playlist where Patreon members can add requests:

We only have two or more videos going up on certain days because we are still trying to get caught up. We only recorded 3-4 videos in December. Once we are caught up fully we will follow the upload schedule we've laid out of one per day. I think we have a pretty solid plan as of now. Thank you for the suggestion.

2025-01-30 18:18:55 +0000 UTCAs mentioned, Boring Reviews, I think it is, have been splitting up and watching each episode task by task, which works well. I agree that there is always a danger of missing part of a task by watching clips, but watching a whole episode in one sitting is unnecessary equally. I also agree that watching from series 1 would be great. Series 2 and 5 have to be my favourites, while I must admit to being a little disappointed and not watching every episode once they moved to Channel 4, but then it would be hard to keep up the quality of contestant indefinitely.

2025-01-30 14:12:50 +0000 UTCTaskmaster 100% you should watch the full episodes, the clips are virtually pointless imho.

2025-01-30 13:34:16 +0000 UTCLuckily they know which order to watch the Bob ones but I’ve been waiting to see more for a while. Can’t wait for those especially theft and shrubbery. 😅

2025-01-30 13:32:00 +0000 UTCThanks - I added it to the playlist so hopefully they get to it eventually

2025-01-30 13:04:57 +0000 UTCI subscribe to two other reactors and one of them started Taskmaster from the very beginning reacting to all episodes up to the latest series, so I reckon going the full hog on some of these shows instead of just showing best bits because it’s all good really.

2025-01-30 11:37:16 +0000 UTCI agree. I can't for the life of me remember which ones you've done, but Henning Wehn (illegal border crossing / missing persons list) and James Acaster (Sleeping in a Bush / The game of squirt) are high on my list, too. Seriously though, that Bob mortimer one suggested by Mark is great!

2025-01-30 07:10:48 +0000 UTCYou may have seen some WILTY but you haven't seen Bob and his dentistry story! The best one :'D

2025-01-30 00:58:23 +0000 UTCOh, and you are familiar with Aisling Bea already, even f you are not familiar with her name. She is the dark-haired, blue-eyed Southern Irish comedian I saw you react to previously. She is in both the task I linked to in Series 5, Episode 8 | 'Their Water's So Delicious'" - where they have to write a song about a woman they had only just met (including Bob Mortimer and possibly my favourite British female comedian, Sally Phillips of "Smack the Pony" fame, who is wonderfully funny as well as Cambridge-educated and far kinder and more intelligent than the smug and cruel Ricky Gervais - and in the "Give Alex Horne a Special Cuddle" task too (although I would grab it from the full episode, as opposed to the clip I linked to, which is missing Greg Davies judgement, unfortunately).

2025-01-30 00:31:45 +0000 UTCThat looks as if it should work then, yes! Taskmaster is fabulous and I am absolutely sure you will love it. I see that BoringReviews are reacting to it task by task, which makes sense. I recommended series 2 to one of my closest friends, an American surgeon, and she loved it and has recommended it to other US friends. You can quite easily do so by stopping at appropriate moments during a full episode without losing the sense of it. Given that you are now reacting to The Inbetweeners, it makes sense to move on to Taskmaster, given that the Taskmaster is none other than Greg Davies (the teacher from the former series). It's worth knowing that the creator and producer of the series is actually Alex Horne, who pretends to be his hapless assistant. It has been so successful worldwide that they tried to make a US series, but refused to cast Greg Davies, which was a huge mistake, by all accounts. I won't waste my time watching it, but I have read that it was pretty dire, with the 5 comedians all pretending to be too good for the tasks and taking the piss out of Alex Horne incessantly (a bit rich, all things considered), while the US Taskmaster was too wimpish to put them down.

2025-01-30 00:22:27 +0000 UTCI have a suggestion....of course I have! So on days like today where two videos were uploaded, what if us 'Regenerates' pick a video via a poll and then a have a wildcard picked by Mike and Jess from the remaining selection? This way the content spreads more evenly. Although there are clips I'd like to see reacted to, I find watching something I've not seen and maybe wouldn't choose personally such as the 'Is life better' upload today can be a Weclome change.

2025-01-29 23:59:19 +0000 UTCI wasn't sure what kind of show Taskmaster was. I just looked into it, and I also looked on the site we use for full episodes of other panel shows. Most of the shows we've watched so far are on there. If something wins the poll we might check with you all to see if we should just react to the full episode that the clip is from. In the case you mention about full Gabby Logan/Lee Mack/James Acaster WILTY. If a cutdown version is up for vote or wins I am sure we will hear about it and we will be sure to get the correct version.

2025-01-29 23:44:00 +0000 UTCSo something like this just happened with the first vote. Jeremy Clarkson's the Greatest Raid of All won the poll, but a lot of people in the comments said it would be best to react to Jeremy Clarkson's The Victoria Cross: For Valour first, so we did. While this is definitely not a perfect system, the polls are great because they have a comment section attached to them. If something wins and it's not the best version I'm sure enough people will let us know before we film our reaction. As long as we continue to communicate I think these things will work themselves out. We have a site we are using for our TV show reactions currently. I see the full episodes of Taskmaster on it. I know a lot of people have requested us to react to full episodes/seasons of that show. We will be handling TV show voting differently. They shouldn't go on the other playlists, but if they do end up there it's fine. As we make the list for the polls each week we can remove anything we need to.
RegenerationNationTV
2025-01-29 23:36:12 +0000 UTCWe'll have some items that end up on the playlist that we will remove as they come up because we've already reacted to them. They won't ever affect the polls. I don't expect people to look through our entire channel before making a suggestion.
RegenerationNationTV
2025-01-29 23:25:15 +0000 UTCThe biggest problem I see with this list is that there is no way of commenting where necessary to explain whether an item is the best available, but Mike and Jess are depending on us to link to such. For instance, I have just added a few, including the full Gabby Logan/Lee Mack/James Acaster WILTY, but somebody else has added a link to a cut down version of just "James Acaster Cabbage Prank Disaster", which, ironically, would be a disaster to watch! Taskmaster is particularly troublesome, because some of the genuine Taskmaster channel clips have removed Greg Davies' summing up. I've added a link to one such - "Give a Special Cuddle to Alex Horne" - which stops short of the studio reaction. I've also added a link to a full episode - "Series 5, Episode 8 - 'Their Water's So Delicious'| Full Episode | Taskmaster" which includes the brilliant song by Bob Mortimer etc, because that's the only place I could find the full task and Greg Davies' reaction in HD. My favourite - Joe Wilkinson trying to get a potato in a hole - is a little clipped, but I think goes far enough. With Taskmaster, in fact, my advice to Mike and Jess is to seek out the full episode and watch a specific task from that, so that they can be confident that they get the full task and reaction. Can we all check what we are posting, in other words? With the Joe Wilkinson poem on 8 Out of 10 Cats, for instance, I've been careful to choose the clip that begins with John Cooper Clarke and the other poems, rather than the more common clip that foolishly starts with an unrelated clip, because otherwise Mike and Jess will miss the context that they are all trying to impress him.

2025-01-29 23:18:46 +0000 UTCI have a question. Before making a suggestion we should check if it’s been done already. I’ve heard people say that you can now search within a YT channel but I haven’t found how to do that (iPad app). I realise I can look through the relevant playlist, but for example the music folder has 700 items.

2025-01-29 22:32:38 +0000 UTCGood idea, there's a wealth of short and long clips and full episodes out there.
