Parky, as he is known, interviewed Ali four times, and on one occasion Ali lost his temper with the host for 15 minutes. These interviews are legendary here in the UK, where Ali was so loved by the public.

The reason that guy (Will Young) in the green room was looking so serious and sour was that they were talking about Simon Cowell and Johnathan said Simon treats everyone well. This was not the case with Will Young, he was locked in a very long lawsuit with Simon and his companies after he won Pop Idol over here and then wanted to do his own material and this caused a lot of issues. :)

This video starts with Peter appearing alongside David Beckham, Billy Connelly, Michael Caine and Sir David Attenborough and he brings total chaos to the show, which was Parkinson’s farewell show (so a huge moment in British TV history). It’s bloody hilarious.
