How tf can Xavier think of himself as a Good Guy when he keeps her this broken inside? I feel shockingly angry on her behalf despite knowing this is *just* fiction... Good job Cam, I guess. Now, I have to read a palate cleanser before heading to bed.

He definitely got Sage blue-screening with his admission of wanting her to be more than a mere pawn and that he's eager to help her with whatever path she'd want to pursue with her enhanced abilities...but imagine if he got her boosted enough that she could dominate Xavier in a mental battle. Allow her to find out exactly what the good professor's plans are for her...
