Wouldn't be funny-interesting if The Kingpin was a priest of Law's who escaped the God Hunters' wrath and ended up a crime lord out of sheer opposition to the God Hunters' rule of Skycastle? Certainly one way to be a figure all parties listened to amongst gangs is to be someone everyone respected in the past.
