Hard times
Added 2022-07-02 14:57:11 +0000 UTCI understand that the world is going through a difficult period and even worse in poorer third world countries like the one I live (survive).
But even so, it has been very difficult for me to get used to the massive exodus every turn of the month, and this one was even worse. When you see more than a third of subscribers leaving, you can't help but be discouraged.
I keep thinking what am I doing wrong. I work 12/14 hours a day to try to publish quality illustrations almost every day but this is not enough. Today discouragement and depression took over me. I look at the pc screen and I can't create anything. I apologize and thank the faithful supporters and I would like to say that it is you who still give me the least hope.
"One day some people will miss that artist that they liked the illustrations because there won't even be new illustrations even on the internet because he just got discouraged and stopped like so many others"

Thanks my friend. About Subscriberstar, unfortunately, even though they gave me more freedom, I wouldn't have time to produce something more to post there. I would have to completely migrate there but I still prefer the security and practicality of Patreon. Thank you very much for the compliments on my work. ππ

I believe that no high resolution illustration is... you lose a lot of impact and amplitude and the scene. I know a lot of people use it but it would be the same difference between watching a movie on movie theater versus watching it on a cell phone.π But still thanks for the suggestion. Your wide pics full of movement and characters are like the Sistine frescoes of cgi porn. Unfortunately an increasing number of people browse on a mobile device, which makes it a bit harder to properly enjoy the Boschian fuckfests going on in your works. This probably isn't among the main reasons people leave, but maybe something for you to consider, should you feel inclined.

2022-07-07 08:03:42 +0000 UTCIt is the same old problem/story i heard many times from artists in the internet. there will allways be somebody who is sharing the art/work of the artists because of the practicaly impossible way to protect it against piracy. And so it will be spread all over internet. Every artist should be aware of this. There were many artists who canceled their "normal" jobs because they thought "wow, i am earning so much money...i dont need my dumb old job" but the time came and the support gone. And so gone the money and the problems came because of the loss of mainstay income of a regular job. I can only give one advice for every artist not to cut off the financial income in the "real life" and see the support you are given via parteon or similar as an extra income. nobody expects from you to post something every day. Take your time, build up your life. Only you can help yourself.

And everyone is dropping subscriptions, TAB109 and DarkLord too. I am mentioning these two on purpose, because they too, like you, create complex graphics with many characters. I understand how it makes you feel. I hope you will stick it out. I think your other Patrons are correct, you will gain many new supporters to replace those who didn't stay. Stay strong, my friend.

2022-07-02 17:03:24 +0000 UTCPlease don't be discouraged by this, your work is superb. Soon new subscribers will replace those who left. You may give some thought to the suggestion about using subscribestar as an additional platform. It really gives more freedom to artists than patreon
