Winter is Coming

I was going to do an autumn-themed Halloweeny thing, but it has been snowing every day! Winter is coming, and Summer is seriously fucked! (see above)
I was also going to revisit old characters (in Halloween costumes), but redesigning them has been tricky - I'm making progress but it's hard to find the right balance between this level of realism and the old anime style. I don't want them to look as realistic as these characters, for example, because I just think the FEEL of the originals would be lost.
The most important thing (correct me if I'm wrong) is the personality, and it's harder to express quite so much personality if the characters are too realistic!
Anyway, I'll keep at it, and I'll show you what I've got, later! For now, Happy Halloween, and for those of you living up north like me, Happy Almost-Winter! ^_^'

2019-11-27 02:43:54 +0000 UTCYes finally, we got a couch and a loveseat, and despite me being the tallest, somehow the loveseat ended up being the comfy spot I chose, and my wife who is much shorter prefers the couch (although I prefer to stretch out on the couch if I'm going to take a nap). Funny how that worked out. ^_^''
