Undead Problems

(the 1080 HD version is attached)

Vampires have a problem styling their hair, because they don't have reflections. Here's everybody's favorite Gothic Lolita vampire, Eshes, going in for a trim, and looking super cute!

I have this idea that the characters in the SFK are actors who go and shoot scenes on stage sets, and then go home afterward and just exist in the modern world. Maybe sometime I'll do another image like this, of SFK characters in everyday life.

Well, if you consider that Vampirism is caused by a pathogen (transmitted through saliva - thus the biting) that acts as a parasite.... It completely takes over the host, causing physical and behavioral changes that just so happen to keep the host body animate after death, well, the aging and growth of the host is not out of the question. Can't explain the mirrors, though.

I probably could have framed it to make the joke a little more obvious, but Eshes came out looking so cute I couldn't resist having her right in the middle! ^_^

We know, therefore, that she either she doesn't do her pigtails herself, or she's somehow very good at doing it by touch.

That's a good point, I should have increased the range of focus a bit, since the whole joke of the image is in the background. ^_^'''

Since vampires... ahem, the "alternatively-animated" are based on old legends and misinterpretations of medical problems, I'll go with the old idea that after people die their hair and nails continue to grow (which people thought for a very long time). Eshes is an adult (barely), but she'll stay young-looking at least for a long time... only very ancient and evil vampires get all nasty and shriveled up. She's not "evil" so much as a little inconsiderate.

Considering the caption about "undead problems": Do the undead, given they are, well, dead, still get older? In the case of Eshes will she grow up? If not how come her hair and (presumably) nails are still growing? Perhaps instead of labelling her undead (surely a derogatory term) we should call her alternatively-animated?

Also, good catch on the mirror detail, sblgpfan. I didn't notice at first because the background is very blurry/grainy.

Oh, of course that'd be troublesome when you want to do your hair. Haha, I'd never thought about that.

Good detail with the mirror. The floating cloak is highly amusing, as are the looks everyone seems to be giving.
