So, it was almost a year ago the last time we saw Mouse, and apparently she's been moving up in the world. The best advice for a weak kid in rough surroundings is usually to find the biggest kid around and make friends with them, like she did with Bear. But there's nothing wrong with ingratiating herself to someone even more powerful.
Autumn is a nature spirit, a True Fey, who are very rare in the modern world. Three hundred years ago before there was a big city there, she would have passed through at the beginning of the Fall, taking offerings from settlers to bless their harvest. Now, she focuses on the downtrodden and hungry at the edges of civilization. The fey hide away in the dark, unnoticed corners of the modern world, making use of sneaky intermediaries like Mouse to operate in secret.
I don't know if I'm building a world here for a potential future project, or if I've watched too much Lost Girl on Netflix. I guess it's the first one, because there's no such thing as "too much" Lost Girl. It's too bad it ended... because where am I going to find another sexy lesbian urban fantasy show? All the other shows kill off their lesbians. >_<
