Here's the part that has been surprising me lately: this is a still from an animation (the animation that follows the last image I posted, in the scene). I mean, the animation is going to be in 720 HD instead of 1080, but still, doesn't it look so much nicer and more detailed than most of my animations?
Maybe it's because of the widescreen format. It makes me feel classy.

I remember watching the Comboy Bebop movie, which was widescreen, after the series, which was 5:4, and really noticing the extra atmosphere it gave the scenes. I guess it's because our regular vision is kinda widescreen as well, and most interesting stuff happens 'in the middle' of it.
