Pirates sure are a mis-matched bunch!

I finally finished Delphine the Pirate Queen's brightly-colored yet surly crew for her scene in SFK5. All of these guys are based on the same low resolution figure with only a few textures between the bunch of them (Daz's Michael 3 Reduced Resolution for those of you into that stuff - I was surprised how far I could push the model from its original look). I needed to make them low resolution so that there could be a lot of them, but they'll look fine if they're mostly out of focus in the background... Delphine's ship looks too weird with just her and her first mate alone.

Speaking of which though, redesigns of Delphine and her wild-elf first mate, and the young future Magistrate are done, and I'll put up some much sexier images than this pretty soon (OMG the redesigns look so amazing).

I've realized that this scene will be the Magistrate's backstory - how she went from a shy court assistant to a mean dominatrix - but it won't really tell much about the Pirate Queen. I have some ideas for her origins that'll be more likely to come out someday in RPG form (she's from the neighboring "sea kingdom" and she'll be involved in some of their upper class intrigue stuff). But for now, she's just a sexy pirate with a sexy first mate, and... a mixed bag of a crew. ^_^'''
