Cauldron Polisher

Possible euphemism for a lesbian? Anyway, those cauldrons don't polish themselves! Here's everybody's favorite magic shop assistant Ezzia Arzam - one of the first SFK characters to actually be given an official name, because she appeared on the release document in the SFK3 dungeon scene and I had to give those characters names.

She's a half human, half dark elf, which is a very rare combination in the SFK (as are half-elves in general - there has only been one in a scene, in SFK2). It's too bad I can't really do a backstory thing for her, because in the period of SFK5 she would be a little kid. She's had it rough but now, working for a respectable businesswitch in a successful magic shop on the main street is a good opportunity for her.

Why this image? It was the opening of the magic shop scene in SFK1:Galaxy Edition, and that whole scene was pretty spectacular, so I don't know if anyone really paid much attention to this part. I actually had spent quite a lot of time on it (as always, attention to detail is my thing), and I always really liked how she was posed. It looks exactly as awkward and heavy as lugging around a big cauldron should be, and I feel like it shows her status as grunt assistant who gets all the crap jobs - cleaning up hazardous potion spills, emptying the cat box, polishing the cauldrons, fluffing the customers, etc.

OH YEAH, why this image today? Because I did a little script revision for SFK4, specifically to do with the ending scene that she's in. If you download the script.zip attached to this post and extract the script.rpyc file, you can use it to replace the script.rpyc file in SFK4's game folder (maybe make a backup copy of the original one first), and make it so that the extra scene is always visible without having to play through the whole thing.

It only works for SFK4, so be sure to put it in the right place! Also, it's not very heavily tested... if you have an older version of SFK4 (especially one originally from DLsite), one without the "about" section, it might cause an error, but you should be able to click through the error and keep going.

If you try it out, let me know if it works! ^_^'''

P.S. I don't want keep making every post to be about my health, so I'll just say that it's still a slow recovery, and I'll let you know if there's big news there, but otherwise I want to try and get back to focusing on sexier things.

It's a high performance carbon fiber racing cauldron.

Oh, that's a good point. The program will read all the script files in the folder. I'm glad it worked though!

wow... she must be very strong to carry that cauldron... or is it made of styrofoam? ;]

Worked for me. A few errors until I moved the old script.rpyc (renamed as script_old.rpyc) to another folder. After that, the errors disappeared. ^^
