Ooooo, that just gave me a good idea. In the deep realm of the forest, such as might be seen in the RPG someday, the Forest Mother could be served and attended by a bunch of nubile forest elf handmaidens (forest elves always have unusual hair colors anyway). ^__^

With the existing characters, I'd have to redesign them from scratch using a higher resolution base figure, so it's not really that simple. Especially for my most iconic characters, it would be difficult to get them to really match the look and feel of the old version while still being higher resolution. The bigger problem is really that rendering a scene with multiple high-res objects and figures takes exponentially longer. >_<

She does look lovely and kind, though indeed slightly too young to cover the warm / caring / motherly aspect. Of course, her hips and futunari equipment also somewhat work against any motherly image ;-)

She is a lovely character, although I agree that if you are going for an older appearance then she looks more Initiate than Forest Mother. Still beautiful, and shows how far you have come over the years.

Maybe this is a stupid question, but if this is a quick render, isn't it just as easy to render Aisling in a higher resolution? Personally I'd love to see SFK in this kind of detail. I guess it would really take it to the next level. And have you ever thought about doing more weird, humanoid characters? You could make her fingers long and branchy, for example. Endless possibilities.
