Hey Studs - thank you for being SO patient with me while I try to kick this covid!! I did test negative a couple days ago, but yesterday my fever re-appeared and I'm more congested than ever - so annoying! But, I honestly really missed you guys so I decided to at least record this voicemail on my phone from bed. Literally everything I tell you in this voicemail is true - even the scary part :/ (the only non-truth is that I am finally out of the hotel and in my hometown, but I recorded it from the perspective of me still being there for storytelling purposes). I know this is on the low-energy side, and I still don't sound like myself, but it is my way of still being able to connect with you all at least. It might be a good 'fall asleep to' audio lol. I am DETERMINED though, to get a new, spicy audio to you all by Friday though! Any other ideas of what I can do with this sick voice while I have it!? Anyways, hope you enjoy!!

To set the scene: Your girlfriend has been travelling. She has not felt great for a couple weeks, but on her way home to you she got reallly sick. She had a long layover in a major city and thankfully had time to make it to an urgent care, where they tested her and told her she had Covid :(. So instead of continuing on her travels, she got a hotel until it felt safe to finish the trip. She is calling you because she really misses you. Sadly, you missed the call.
