Jenny had brought her dog Milo down to the lab to test her new invention. If it worked as she hoped, she’d be able to psychically link with him in order to give basic commands like “sit,” “stay,” and so on. Unfortunately, the link must have been a little too strong, and ended up swapping the bodies of Jenny and Milo.
But luckily, the link had been established. Jenny put on her lab coat as Milo sat and listened attentively.
‘Milo, I’m going to need your help to fix this,’ She said to him in their minds.
“Milo can help! Milo’s a good dog!” Milo said aloud before quickly adding, “Wow! Milo can speak!”
‘That’s actually a great start! But remember, you look like me now, so you are Jenny for now.’
“Okay...Jenny can help! Jenny is a good dog!”
‘Technically, you aren’t a dog at all right now, Milo. You are human, and I’m going to need you to pretend to be one. You need to pretend to be me, okay? But hopefully, you can follow my instructions to fix and activate my device again so we can get back to normal before that’s actually necessary.’
“Why fix it so quick? Maybe Jenny likes being human! Jenny likes being Jenny! Jenny wants to try to be Jenny for a while! I can pretend to be a good human for you! I’m such a good human!”
