Happy New Year!

Hey guys!

Sorry I haven't posted an update in a while. I didn't want to post an update without having a new build ready, and after November came and went, I thought I'd have one ready in December, but other stuff came up.

And while I still don't have a new build ready for you, I do have some news to share!

First of all, I haven't been slacking off entirely. I've been doing research and writing down ideas, and thinking about how to implement things... Like for example, how can I make the inside of your partner's mouth darken when you're inside it, and they close it? I could make a new shader with a second ambient occlusion map and animate that slider. Or I could try attaching a realtime reflection probe to your head and do something with that. There's also a new shader someone has released which I was looking at which implements some of Google's research into 3D renderings, where reflection probes don't affect places that are in shadow, though I believe that only deals with lightmaps. However that might be useful for problematic areas inside the house, like pillows which were displaying strong and incorrect rim lighting when sitting against a cushion. I think I'd corrected that in the most recent demo by disabling reflecton probes entirely on them, or maybe I just added reflection probes specfic to them. But either way, a method that works the same for everything so I don't have to carefully tweak specific materials would be nice.

I've also been keeping tabs on the Unity store and the sales which came up for Black Friday and New Years, and I picked up several new assets including:

I also purchased this meadow, though I'm not sure if it will be useful. I haven't had a chance to load it up and look at it and the videos don't really show how much there is to it. But the grass assets seem nice, so it might be useful for a park or something, for micros:

And this asset I grabbed for free. Remember all my tests with the fluid simulation? Well, if those don't come to fruition, I can always use static meshes which I deform. I purchased Megafiers a few months back, which also deforms meshes, but this free tool specifically deforms meshes along spline curves, and I saw it used in a water-bending demo which made me think I could model jizz spurts as individual objects and then make them fly in parabolic arcs using this, if need be:

I also picked up models of a stomach and  uterus for future scenarios I'll eventually add.

Finally, today I made a new licensing deal with another avatar creator, Nimbkoll, who's agreed to let me use his rabbit and detailed canine and anthro peen models in the game!

I'd thought Ghostly's avatars came with a more human peen option when I licensed them, but apparently there were just some references to those left around and they were never actually implemented. So besides getting a new rabbit friend, I'll now be able to let you choose your partner's junk style to fit your preference!

The only other thing I can think of right now to talk about is my plans for the year ahead.

I haven't made progress as quickly as I'd like on the game. And that's part of the reason I'm charging only $5 a month for access to builds while other creators charge $10. I also don't feel that at this time I have enough adult content in the game to justify the higher price. So that will remain the same for now.

But due to a worldwide chip shortage, my previous job selling electronics is no longer paying the bills, and my Patreon isn't making enough to do so either.  But I still have faith the game will be a success, and my New Year's Resolution is to buckle down and get more content in, and do it faster than I did last year.

So, expect a new build towards the end of this month!

What'll be in said build? I don't know yet! I'll possibly outfit the garage, add a new male bear, and our rabbit friend. But I also would like to provide a means to disable some of the stuff in the world, or at least implement partner selection, so that people with lower end PC's won't chug as much. What else I might add, I'm not sure yet.

It is, but the way I did that before was I manually assigned each finger collider to each body collider for every avatar, which was a very time consuming process (and that was with only three avatars, there are now six, and there will soon be eight or nine), and my work was undone every time I updated the VR SDK. I need to modify the Dynamic Bones plugin, or create a new script, to search for those colliders and bones and automatically link them up at run time, or compile time, instead. So, I don't know if I'll get to that this month, but it's defiinitely in the "soon" category of things I need to do!

Would it be possible to re-enable body collisions (if they weren't already) and for example breast physics?
