Tim remembered the car accident quite clearly, the rest was a bit more blurry; there were sirens and men in white coats. When he finally awoke, it wasn’t in a hospital bed but in a glass cage. Beside his body and hands being restrained, he could feel something was wrong. He let out a scream when he saw glass cages in the room with his father, his sister, and...himself?
“What the hell is going on here?” He shouted, hearing a familiar voice coming from his own mouth. He then looked down to see the dress his mother, Jennifer, had been wearing in the car, “What the hell!?”
A doctor walked over, “You need to calm down, Tim. I have temporarily swapped around the brains of you and your family. But you need to calm down. Too much stress and you risk permanently fusing yourself in that body. I have been providing you with drugs to keep you all sedated while I work, but the risks were similar if I continued using them. So, please, try to remain calm.”
“But how am I suppose to remain calm? I’m in the body of my own mother!?”
“I can’t help with that. The best I can do is remind you of the consequences if you do not...”
