Mack and Sophie had planned their wedding down to the minute. They’d say their “I do”s just as the moon began to cover the sun and kiss at exact perfect moment of a total eclipse. It all went off perfectly until they were to walk back down the aisle together to the reception. Instead, Sophie ran off in the other direction.
Mack immediately went to go look for her. It took about an hour before finding her at a local restaurant, scarfing down some chicken wings.
“What’s wrong, Honey? What happened?” He asked.
“Don’t call me ‘Honey.’” Sophie replied.
“Okay, but what’s wrong? We did it! We’re married!”
“No, we’re not. I’m not your bride.”
“What are you talking about?”
“I know they say you’re not supposed to stare directly at an eclipse, but, well, I stared directly at the eclipse. But did I go blind? Nope. But I did end up in this body. I’m not your bride. I’m not your ‘Honey.’ Heck, I’m not even really a woman. I’m a guy...or was a guy.”
“Come on, Sophie, know you were nervous, but it’s done. Let’s go back to reception. Besides you might ruin your dress, and I know how much you love that dress.”
The man inside Sophie’s body sighed, “Well, if that’s going to be what takes to convince you.” He began to wipe his dirty hands all over the skirt of the dress.
Mack was finally started to be convinced that whoever was sitting here in this restaurant inside his wife’s body, it certainly wasn’t Sophie!
