2026-02-22 14:24:06 +0000 UTCThe disassociation between Hector and Eidolon has been presented more than once. So, I guess this is a plot, and a flaw, the is MC will develop in the following arcs. Especially now since he is stating to his summons, the closest of his current relationships, how Hector is not part of Eidolon. I say in this way because the MC doesn't present his identity as "Hector with superpowers." But he is behaving like "Hector is dying while Eidolon is being born. Like Batman and Bruce Wayne when he got asked who he is, and he answered he is Batman." Which doesn't make sense to me since in One Piece World he understood how people around him are characters but REAL people. I thought he would grasp the idea that he is still Hector, but with superpowers. Like, since he is powerful, he needs to "force" his way to be normal in ways that doesn't show maturity at all. At least not in that aspect of himself. It looks like he is playing with Mary Jane feelings in this stage. Like, he is with her not because he likes her, not completely though, but because he needs an anchor to feel human, to feel he is normal? I think he is overthinking right now. He is powerful and he can be as normal as he wants to demonstrate. In short, he hasn't accepted that he is mortal (human) anymore, and he is trying to for his way to feel human through Mary Jane. It's not fair for her. I expected Hector to see it, but I guess he is in denial.
